The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the Strengthening of Responsibility for Certain Infringements in the Sphere of Public Utility Services" as a Basis

The bill (Reg. No.6505) strengthens responsibility for separate infringements in the sphere of public utility services that caused injures or death of the citizens. Pursuant to the bill, the Criminal Code of Ukraine is to be supplemented with a new clause 194-2 "Intentional Damage of the Objects of Public Utility Services", and amendments to clause 153 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements are to be introduced.
